HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?

Temperature and ID data is collected wirelessly each time a bolused animal passes through the BHS Dual Fixed Reader. The BHS System is composed of three parts: the BHS Bolus, BHS Dual Fixed Reader and BHS Herd Health SC Software.

1. • BHS Temperature Bolus - A magnetic passive RFID rumen bolus with an integrated temperature sensor. The BHS bolus does not require batteries or maintenance and lasts the entire life span of the animal, guaranteed.
   

2. • BHS Dual Fixed Reader - “Energizes” the BHS Bolus and collects temperature / ID data.
   

3. • BHS Herd Health SC Software - Collects the data from the BHS Dual Fixed Reader and provides you with immediate and reliable information.
